Getting Started

In order to use the cluster, you must first have properly functioning login scripts -- you shouldn't expect anything to work unless you read, understand and adhere to the instructions at that link. Once that's done, log in and work through the examples in The rsh Tutorial to learn how to run programs on the compute nodes.

You should also have some understanding of The 'use' Environment Manager which simplifies using the sea of third party software available in strongbadia. To ease the process of logging into strongbadia, you also may want to read about How To Set Up An SSH Agent On Your Workstation.
